Super-Size Me: Going All Out for Your Dreams on Super Saturday
Do you remember the iconic documentary film Super-Size Me? In 2004, Morgan Spurlock set out to eat only McDonald’s for 30 days and documented the effects it had on his body. The results were shocking and raised awareness about the dangers of fast food.
Also, do you remember the feeling of walking into McDonald’s and being asked what size you wanted? For many of us, the answer was always the same: super-size me. We wanted the biggest, best, and most satisfying meal we could get.
Super-Sized Mindset
But what if we applied that same mindset to our dreams and goals? What if we approached every day with the same level of enthusiasm and determination that we had when we ordered our super-sized meal?
That’s what Super Saturday is all about. It’s a day to go all out, to give our dreams the time, energy, and effort they deserve. It’s a day to push ourselves to the limit and see what we’re truly capable of.

This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion.”
Can we be honest, it’s easy to settle for average efforts and second best, but that’s not how champions are made. The last few reps, the extra mile, the extra hours of work are what separates the champions from the rest. We must be willing to go through the pain and discomfort to achieve our goals.
How Can We Apply This Super-Size Mentality
So how can we apply that mentality to our own lives? How can we push ourselves to grow and succeed, even when it feels like we’re at our breaking point?
One key is to stay focused on our goals, even when the going gets tough. It’s easy to get distracted or discouraged when we face challenges, but by keeping our eyes on the prize, we can stay motivated and keep moving forward.
Another important factor is to surround ourselves with positive, supportive people. When we’re going through a tough time, it can be easy to feel isolated or alone. But by building a strong community of friends, family, and mentors, we can find the support and encouragement we need to keep going.
And finally, it’s important to take care of ourselves, both physically and mentally. That means getting enough rest, eating well, and making time for self-care activities like exercise, meditation, or just spending time doing things we enjoy.
